lawyers: Magda Lauwers

Magda LAUWERS studied Latin & Greek in secondary school and she obtained the diploma of Master of Law at the KUL (Catholic University of Leuven) in 1992, after she had obtained her bachelor at the Antwerp University.

She joined the office immediately following her studies and after her apprenticeship, she was asked to join the office as a collaborator.

Her activities within the office mainly include Company Law, with share transactions, insolvency law, and in particular counselling of companies in difficulties, with the complete procedures of judicial settlements.

In order to further broaden her wide knowledge, Magda followed additional courses intellectual rights at the KUB (Catholic University Brussels), and in 2000 she obtained the title of Master of Intellectual Rights.

She is familiar with the European Competition Law and regularly deals with the corresponding services of the European Commission for various procedures.

Magda LAUWERS is an acknowledged speaker regarding the subject of judicial settlements of M&D Seminars, and Kluwer Opleidingen.
