Within the domain of labour legislation, the lawyers’ office activities are mainly situated in the field of individual labour legislation.

Contractual aspects involve among others advising and drawing up of employee labour agreements – categories and agreements for self-employed service rendering whereby  pseudo self-employment is a known problem.

The office further gives advice on labour regulations, working hours, temporary employment, changed terms of employment, salary and related aspects.

The office was repeatedly confronted with questions regarding camera supervision, checking of e-mail and internet use, both coming from employees and employers who are confronted with theft on the work floor or excessive use of the internet by employees.

The office also gives advice or legal assistance in case of individual dismissals.

Related subjects are for example terms of notice to be complied with and/or (termination) compensations to be paid, any formalities to be complied with in case of individual dismissals, and in particular in case of dismissals for urgent reasons.

The office also provides assistance in the field of collective labour legislation, and in particular within the framework of take-overs and/or closure of enterprises.

The office provides assistance both to employers and employees. 

The legal assistance provided by the office includes both giving advice, as well as providing assistance before the legal authorities.
